Well, Scruffy died. It looks like he had a stroke. Because of this I decided that I want nothing more to do with Guinnea Pigs. I do love pets and in my mourning, Chris was worried about me so he agreed to adopt a cat. We adopted Samara on Saturday, September 2, 2006 from Petsmart. She is so cool! She really is adapting well to our family. Even Michael loves her. Chris has been seen petting and talking to her on occasion. He has agreed to take allergy medicaiton if necessary, and we have included him and Millie in our prayers asking Heavenly Father to look over them and their allergies so we can keep them and Samara in our lives. Jacob was unsure of Samara in the begining--it seems he wants a crab or a kitten to replace his little Scruffy--when we would not agree to either, Chris asked him if he would feel better with a trip to Target to get some Yugio cards, he immediately forgot his woes and perked up. What a suprise it is to see Michael enjoying a pet. He is not interested in holding her, but he likes to give her treats, pet her and play with her. Little Samara is enjoying life as the other girl in the Taylor home.
